Recently just watched 2 new anime, Rozen Maiden and Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha.
There are 2 parts of this anime, Rozen Maiden and Rozen Maiden Traumend and 2 episodes of OVA, Rozen Maiden Overture. It's quite and interesting anime, I would give around 7/8 over 10 for it.
This anime is generally about special dolls that have magical powers and are fighting to becme the perfect girl for their father, Rozen, the creator of these dolls. There are a total of 7 dolls, each has thier own personalities, elegant, funny, cute, crazy, noisy, etc... There's one more extra doll shown in RM Traumend, a doll which has magical powers as well, created by Rozen's student in order to prove he has surpass his teacher.

This first part, Rozen Maiden, is generally more relaxing as there are a lot of scene where dolls are playing with each other and stuff... The following part, Rozen Maiden Traumend, is more about fighting and more of the dolls and the doll maker, Rozen stories are revealed. The OVA basically focuses on Suigintou's story, how she was abondoned, how she developed her hatred towards other dolls and stuff... It's a sad story, quite touching to see how difficult her life is.
Overall, it's a good anime to watch, funny, action anime. =)
Another magical anime, talks about mages and magics in different worlds. A lot of cute girls. XD Well, I think there's like 3 parts of this anime, Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha, Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha A and Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha StrikerS. I have only watched the first two series, quite action-packed anime, cute at the same time. =) There's some Sailormoon element in this anime, the girl, Nanoha needs to transform everytime she need to fight, and the transformation is really similar... I usually forward that part, it's boring to see the same thing over and over.
Well, the first part of this anime shows how the main character, Nanoha, got her magical powers and learn how to use them. Then, there's another strong magical girl, Fate Testarosa, who fight against Nanoha for her mother. Fate has a sad story behind and Nanoha helped her and save her from being tortured, finally they become good friends.
The second part of the anime, Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha A, includes more mages and more new characters, there's also more actions involved and it shows how the 2 good friends evolved and became better. In the process, they gained new friends and experience.
Both of the series talks about how the administration of the time bureau (or something) which to maintain peace among all the worlds and dimensions, trying to stop some evil stuff (?) from disrupting the balance... I have yet to watch the third part yet, but I am looking forward to it.
Well, didn't manage to get much pictures for this anime, but it's a good one, recommended. =)
Not to forget, thanks to Matt, I get to watch these 2 nice series. XD
