Outing & Experience @ Yuzu, The Gardens

Boo~

Another weekend passed! It's kinda sad to see how fast happy moments passed by so fast, I am still having lot of things in hand... I guess I will have to look forward to the following weekend and without noticing, it's already May and I have been working for 4 months already, wow... Kinda unbelievable lol... Anyway, yesterday I went to Mid Valley with EdeNz, Matt and Phoebe, Mao and Sheryl supposed to come but something came up and end up just 4 of us. =/

We planned to watch movie but I failed to buy the tickets online on Friday and the queue was freaking long when we reached so we decided not to waste time. =( We went lunch at Kim Gary, chit chat a lot, finally Phoebe completed his studies and now he's free! Lol... We talked about lots of stuff, can't remember everything but it's fun, hehe... After lunch we went shopping and walk around MV, nothing much to see actually. Matt bought a Code Geass picture book and Trinity Blood DVD from AnimeTech though. XD Then we walked until we are tired and thristy, ended up at McDonald's for a drink and continue talking until evening, Phoebe and Matt went back around 6pm. After that, EdeNz and I walked around and thinking what to buy for dinner, somehow we ended up shopping around, bought a few stuffs and went to Yuzu at The Gardens for dinner, lol!

The Menu.

Our table.

It's a nice Japanese restaurant with very very nice surroundings, very nice service as well hehe... The manager came to recommend us a few nice dishes when we were looking at the menu and the waitress speaks Japanese! So cool right? XD Hehe anyway, we ordered some special stuff which we never tried before and it's really nice, I love it!

Paper basket that can be cooked, amazing!

Delicious?

Our main dish is called Hokkaido Nabe, it's something like steamboat, they put all the ingredients in a paper basket with miso soup and cook it in front of you and you eat it while it's hot. =) The dish we ordered is a seafood dish so we get a big piece of salmon, a few big prawns, a few mussels together with lots of veges, tofu and mushrooms which make the soup so sweet. The size is just nice for two people and by the time we finish everything, we are already full, ths dish itself cost RM68. =p

My favorite Ikura Cawanmushi.

Besides that, I also ordered my favorite Ikura Cawanmushi, it's very small portion but it's so delicious that I can keep eating if money allows me to, haha! I love the feeling of having those fish roes popping in your mouth and the juice mix nicely with the egg, the taste is just wonderful, cannot be described by just a few words. It's a must try for Ikura lovers like me. XD However, this one costs RM18 which is heavily overpriced in my opinion, still cannot resist the temptation no matter what. =p

After having the Nabe, we ordered a Salmon Temaki and a Unagi Roll, wanted to try their sushi and handroll, hehe... We ate the Salmon Temaki immediately after being served before we remembered to take a snapshot, lol... The taste is good but nothing special, I guess as long as the ingredients are fresh, temaki is quite simple to make.

Unagi roll.

The unagi roll is quite big, didn't thought they will give us the whole piece of unagi. The roll has prawn, egg and cucumber in it so it's really crunchy inside and soft outside... The taste of the unagi simply rocks, not too salty like the ones in Sushi King and the texture is just nice to melt in your mouth and mix together with the rest of the ingredients. XD Love this dish a lot although we are super full after eating this.

I enjoyed this meal a lot, no complaints at all, everything is just perfect. =) The only thing is this meal really costs me a lot, if you were to ask me, I don't think it's worth it but this experience is simply amazing and nice, it made my day, maybe I will visit again when I have the money to spend! XD
