Waiting...

Boo~

I am still as busy as usual, this time is something related to my work, hopefully things will start to settle down next weekend. =) But today, something triggers some thoughts and memories of mine that I would really wanna talk/rant about...

Do you normally wait for people or you are the one who is always making other people to wait for you? I don't know how everyone feels but for me, waiting is very boring and I feel that the person or people I am waiting for is being disrespectful because the person is wasting my time, something that even money can't buy. I know sometimes something unexpected just came up, no one would have foreseen that so it's ok, it's just bad luck... But I have seen people that just refuse to be on time and let others wait for no reason, I hate that kind of people!

Excuses like traffic jams, cannot wake up, bla bla... are just too lame, those that like to use this excuses are brainless in my opinion, because if a person has a brain, a person would know (s)he should leave early to avoid jam during peak hours and to set alarm if (s)he can't wake up or just sleep early the night before and so on. Perhaps people that always come late for meetings and appointments doesn't feel the pain of waiting or it's just me that is too sensitive? Hmm...

I am sure every Malaysian is so used to "Malaysian Time" that everyone would naturally arrive 30 minutes or even 1 hour later than the agreed time and I don't understand why! I have no idea since when this culture exist and I don't have any clue why people purposely reach late and at times I tend to do that as well when I know those people that I am meeting does that to me because I don't want to ruin my mood just because I have to wait. This is annoying, isn't it?

Some of my close friends that always hang out with me have seen me emo for the entire outing just because someone is late and I am sure they know how bad I acted, but I can't help it... Time is very precious to me and I don't want to waste any time doing something pointless, especially now that I am craving for more time every single day. Perhaps some of you would say that I just have to get used to it and be part of the gang but sorry, I don't think I want to do that... I have my own principles and I definitely don't want to wait for someone or something that isn't worth my time. So next time, don't be late! XD

It's just some ranting, don't feel offended in any way, I am not taking about anyone in particular, I just feel like letting it out because some events that happened today triggers my thoughts...

Easter Egg Hunt on Fluff

Boo~

I was missing I know and I am back now lol... I have been so busy with so many things that I couldn't actually find a time to update my blog here... So before I sleep tonight, I should just update on what I have been doing lately I guess. XD

Most people should know Easter day is around the corner, I am not celebrating or anything, but there's an application on Facebook which I like, "Fluff Friends", which is having an event to hunt for easter eggs for our virtual pets... There's where I have been to for the entire week basically, looking for easter eggs which took so much of my time already...

I finally got all the rare eggs I wanted to find on Saturday, and got EdeNz another full set today and some extras which are available for trading, =p the event is ending tomorrow, luckily... Finally I can just rest and doing something else lol. I am totally into this egg hunting, it's just my attitude that I want to get everything out there for myself, a sense of achievement. XD

Other than being sticked to fluff, the rest of the time is spent for work and perhaps a little for the online project that I am working on right now... I have been neglecting RO for sometime already, that's how I feel... I really want to get back my normal life to have some time to actually relax and not stuck in front of the computer! Anyone has plans for short trips during weekends?

General Election 2008

Boo~

Supposed to write this entry earlier, but well, you should know by now I don't really have time to spare nowadays... Other than working, there's this project that I am involved in which took up a lot of my free time. =/ Hopefully everything goes well and by that time, you will know what it is all about. XD

Back to topic, a very interesting topic actually... It's the most interesting general election ever in the history of Malaysia simply because we as normal citizens finally have a real feel of what democracy is all about. In the past, the government party (BN) easily swept all the parliament seats and all the states government seats as well, except for Kelantan. However, we see a very big change this time where BN barely survive in getting enough seats to form the government, does this really mean that the people of Malaysia has finally open their eyes?

A lot of discussion are going on, a lot of scandals, a lot of news... So many that you don't really know who is telling the truth. One thing for sure, this election has proven a point that the people wants a government that can bring growth and prosperity to the country and for the people. Everyone is tired of having a government that invest millions of money for something that the country do not need and it does not do any good to the people as a whole.

I do remember seeing BN's posters during their campaign claiming that they have given us a secured place to live, so my question would be, how secured is our home when crime rate is increasing rapidly and the police force couldn't do anything about it? Having bunch of Mat Rempits on the highway during midnight waiting to "have fun" is secure? Lol. The election results has proven that the people are not stupid and brainless, we have eyes to see, we can feel and we are able to judge ourselves, whether the government is doing anything for us. In fact, the government has made all of us, regardless of races, so angry that we don't even care who is on the opposition, we just want to send a message across that we are angry, we hate the way you run the country!

No one has expected that half of the nation thought of teaching BN a lesson by giving their vote to the opposition at the same time, which results in giving 5 most developed states to them. It's too late to say anything since the results are out but we can surely look forward to see what both parties will do for us in order to gain our support. I am pretty sure that both parties will try their hardest to prove themselves because the nation has matured and we can now make our own decision to bring us what we want.

For BN, it's time to really think about the things you have done in the past and what will you do in the future. It's a very clear signal to you that we don't like the way you rule. We do hold the power to decide whether we still want you as our government or not.

For the opposition party, this is your golden chance that you have been waiting for, a chance to prove yourselves useful. You will never know if we might continue support you for the next election if you are really good and you can bring good to the country as a whole.

I place hope in this new government which is not so one sided now because I believe competition always bring improvements and if the ruling party does more for us, the people gain the most benefit and our country will become better. We shall see what is waiting for us in the future, everyone is excited to welcome the new government. =)

Vantage Point

Boo~

Just got back from work, so I thought of updating my blog before I start doing anything else, hehe... XD Last Saturday, EdeNz, Matt, Bombie and I went for a movie, Vantage Point at Mid Valley, because Matt wanted to buy some books, so we might as well go for movie while we were there hehe...

So we reached there around 12.30 and before meeting up Matt and Bombie, EdeNz and I bought half dozen donuts from the newly opened Big Apple, hehe, the donuts are so nice! Then, Matt arrived a bit later and after that we decided to go for lunch. XD I saw this new sushi shop opposite Big Apple, so I suggested that we go there and explore, and we did. The place has pretty cool design and all, the price is also very "pretty" lol... Everything there is quite pricey given that all the food served are of a good quality, way better than those normal sushi shops out there. We talked a lot and also spent a lot of time to decide on what to eat, have to take care of the budget as well. =p

Time passed by really fast, by the time we finish our meal it's almost time for the movie. Hehe, not really sure what movie it was at that time since it was EdeNz who say it's a nice movie. It is indeed a good movie, unique and interesting.

Cool poster, Vantage Point.

The movie started of with a scene where the President of USA is holding an anti-terrorism commit and it goes on until the President got shot halfway through the event. The special thing about this movie is that it repeats the entire scene from 6 different point of views and each view slowly reveals the plot behind the assassination.

The first view was from a new channel, the second is from a secret agent of the President, then followed by a local policeman and a US tourist, all of them show the chain of events on scene. Then the fifth view came from the President himself where he was sent back to the hotel and a double was sent out to the commit, however, the terrorist managed to figure out the plan and got the President kidnapped. The last view is from the leader of the group, how everything actually works and it's pretty cool to see how this guy uses technologies to help him in his plan.

It's really interesting and the way the movie portrays the story is unique and you get to pick up infos while looking at a different view, nice idea from the director. XD There are quite a lot of action scenes in the movie itself and it quite good, at least for me. The car chasing part is actually good, I like that scene, hehe...

It's not a very lengthy movie, it might get a bit boring when the scene of the assassination keep repeating but the story develops really well after that, I recommend everyone to watch this movie... 8/10. =)

After movie, we 4 went shopping, walking around Mid Valley and we actually did circled the whole Mid Valley lol... I bought a bag for myself from Voir, quite nice and I like it... Matt bought himself a wallet and books (that's the main reason we went to Mid Valley), Bombie bought a cover for his lovely iPhone... XD After having dinner at McD, we went home early because everyone needs to attend meeting at 9pm haha... Different meeting though. XD
